Ocean City, Maryland is located just south of the Delaware beaches -- a resort town situated on the Atlantic Ocean. It features miles of sandy beaches and a three-mile-long wooden boardwalk. One of the longest in the country, it’s lined with restaurants, shops and hotels and features lots of entertainment for all ages. The surrounding waters are often filled with kayaks and tour boats -- some of which journey to the popular and beautiful Assateague Island nearby, home of the famous wild Assateague ponies and horses which range freely.
