Sherry was wonderful. We started looking around july we didnt really like what we found in our price budget. We wanted to stay in MD so that way it was close to our jobs. In October we saw quite a few more houses there was one that was just reduced that we really fell in love with. She listened to our needs and wants i would definitely work with her again. Sherry communicated very well she would call or text. Very knowledgeable with houses. She said she has been doing it for many years. I would recommend Sherry Thens to anyone who asked.

Sherry was both extremely professional and extremely friendly throughout the entire buying process. I was in Ocean City for one week and hoping to get as much done as possible. Before I arrived, we spoke on the phone about what I was looking for in a condo, and she prepared a book of listings for us to tour. During the tours, she showed a thorough knowledge about the neighborhoods, condo associations, and even general ideas about how much repairs or renovations would cost. She was patient when I asked to see some properties multiple times, and never made me feel rushed. She also gave me copies of a sales contract and addenda to review before we made any offers. When we did make an offer, she had reviewed the comparable sales and suggested a price so far below the list that I didn't expect it to be accepted, but it was, another example of her expertise of the market. The day we wrote the contract she went through it with me section by section to make sure I fully understood everything. She was also able to set up an inspection within the same week that I was in town, and then she kept in touch between then and closing. She got back to me quickly any time I had a question, and the Oldfather Group also sent me e-mail updates that included information that I had yet to ask, like how to set up the utilities. Overall, the process was much faster and smoother that I hoped possible, and I recommend Sherry and the Oldfather Group with no hesitation.

It was a pleasure working with Sherry though an almost two-year process. She was extremely patient and accommodating through some difficult and unexpected hurtles we encountered throughout the process. Through it all, it was evident that Sherry had our best interest in mind. We plan on selling a second property and re-purchasing another property in the near future and plan on utilizing Sherry’s talents again. We highly recommend Sherry as a realtor.

Sherry as well as her team are very professional and go way beyond what you may expect from any other realtor. Sherry was very patient even though we had everything that could go wrong actually go wrong. Sherry took the time to personally handle these bumps and went out of her way to get them corrected. We spent two years with Sherry and she always made time for us as we lived 3 hours away and could only come down every few weeks. Sherry is very responsive and when you are dealing with her you feel like you are her only client as she keeps very well informed. We will definitely be using Sherry again for our future purchase of our beach home.

Sherry has been great with our beach home search. Since the very beginning, she took the time to coordinate the time available for showings and arrange several visits within short-time. When we met for showings: she was well prepared with a binder explaining each location with specifics and comparison based on our budget.
